Due to ensuring the customers privacy few photos can be shared of this line at this time. 3D renders soon to come.
The scope of this system was to significantly improve the packaging and boxing of product at the customer's facility. A.E.G.'s goal was to minimize product handling as much as possible to reduce product damage. The new system starts with a auto bagger designed and built by A.E.G. this machine reduced the customers bagging operators from four to just one with support. Next the system now delivers bagged product to Three (3) independent vac sealers. From the vac sealers new conveyors deliver them to the hot and cold wash before being dried by air knifes. Finally the product will transfer onto a long curved incline conveyor that allows operators enough room to travel beneath the conveyor. This conveyor discharges product onto the customers previously existing packaging loop.
The previously existing packaging loop has since been moved into the newly dedicated boxing room. From here a 3D drawing is available (in pictures). Boxes are packaged and sent along a 180 degree curve before being scaled. Once an operator has scaled the package it is strapped and sent overhead on the new boxing line directly into the freezer. From the freezer operators palletize and stack boxes for delivery.
