Automated Washing System

This truly unique machine was designed to wash and sanitize Euro-Bins and various other components that our customer has in their plant. The rotary design allows for 4 separate zones while keeping the machine more compact and having the loading/unloading be done by the same operator. When washing Euro-Bins the machine has built in manual tipping mechanisms for the bin to drain while being washed. Zones 1-3 have a wash arm that rotates 360° around the item being washed and spray nozzles that come up through the floor to cover all angles. Once loaded the components travel through each zone: pre-rinse, caustic wash, rinse/sanitize, and finally back to the load/unload zone. A full set of custom electrical controls and programming allows for easy adjusting of many parameters of the wash carousel. Items such as wash time, water pressure, number of wash arm rotations, water temperature, and chemical concentration can all be adjusted. Finally, a full system of sanitary plumbing was designed and built complete with holding tanks, a heat exchanger and pneumatic butterfly valves to deliver the water and chemicals needed for washing. This plumbing also has a built-in feature where it acts as a CIP system where at the end of the day all zones and nozzles can have a caustic wash flow through them to clean the machine.
